Oh man this is really bad news. REALLY BAD! This pizza is fantastic. Maybe it was me having to wait so long to have pizza again because I had 2 blood draws so close together, or it is just that awesome. I don't know how I will be able to resist coming here, and I will likely gain 50 pounds before Christmas. I am just glad I didn't find it sooner. Good thing I am going to the gym starting next week! On that note, this review is for the incredible pizza alone. As for the restaurant, I walked in and noticed the pizza pick up area right there. To the right was the dining room, and I did see a server. She glanced at me and moved along. I was surprised she didn't at least say hello or even crack a smile, but no big. I don't plan on eating inside anytime soon. Now back to that pizza. By looking at it, it looks like a lot of the pizza I get from my usual places that I love. I just think the taste of this pizza takes it to a higher level. The sauce is a touch sweet, which I love, and the extra cheese (I almost always get extra cheese!) has some seasoning on it that complements the taste, but doesn't over power it. I am sure Hubby will still douse his with oregano. He just loves his oregano on pizza! I have to say I am glad I checked their site to see the sizes. Normally I order a large, and take home for Hubby whatever I don't eat. They have a large 18" pizza, WOW, but that is way too much pie! I ordered the medium, which is 14" and was able to knock out three pieces for lunch. The good part is I don't feel bloated and sleepy, which happens a lot when I eat pizza. So, if you're a pizza addict like me, I say try Luv'n Oven, unless you're on a diet. Trust me, you will gain back everything because you can't stay away from here. Then again, the slices are so thin, you may be okay!

They're very nice but I didn't like the pizza. The sauce tasted like canned tomato paste. The pan pizza crust was ok and the toppings were good but the Sicilian crust was gross. Tasted like it was deep fried in dirty grease and there wasn't enough toppings. Really awful pizza, won't be back but the service was wonderful and fast carryout.

Ordered some delivery from our local pizzerias. I think it's one of the best pizzerias in our area. I used to work for john the baker in Pembroke Pines for 6 years which was my favorite pizza!! Since they don't deliver we order from our second choice. We asked for the pizza well done it didn't come well done but still great! Have been ordering from them for the past 10 years and never been disappointed

Went here for lunch with a group of ten around four in the afternoon. Upon entering, the waitress asked how many people needed to be seated. When we told her ten, she heaved a great groan and muttered something quite unpleasant-sounding under her breath. We were seated after feeling like we had greatly troubled our waitress. She then took our orders while appearing as if she had never experienced joy in her life. The waitress appeared to despise the fact that she had to serve us. After we received our food, we found that two orders had been messed up. When we told her, she didn't apologize, but did offer to fix them, however; still no sign of a smile. The food was alright. The pizza was okay, but the chicken alfredo seemed to be doused in oil. Long story short, the food was okay, but the service will keep me from ever wanting to come back. I'll stick to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & California Pizza Kitchen in order to avoid feeling like I'm being a nuisance to my waitress.

Let's make this quick and to the point. Order the pizza and the pizza only. It's good, flavorful, not too greasy and the large is a normal sized NY pie. I've tried other items on the menu and was not impressed; garlic knots/rolls (horrible - drowned in oil) and the Stromboli (there was stuff in this stomboli that has no business being in a stomboli...i.e. mushrooms....really?) It just killed it for me. I've learned my lesson and will return for pizza only.

Pizza is great. Very tasty. The ambiance of the place is circa 1970's. The waitress we had was anything but enthused about her job. Acted as if she was being held captive and forced to wait on people. She is an older sorta blonde woman and from what I could see she was the only waitress there.

As far as delivery goes, this place is terrible. I thought it would be better than ordering from that dreadful Vitas place across the street. I can't say their flavors are bad but the pizza always arrives soggy and their subs always make me sick to my stomach. Never again! That area must be cursed when it cones to Italian food and pizza.

Food is pretty good. Some of the best pizza around. When dining in, avoid the old waitresses, Their attitude sucks. I would have fired them years ago. Not good for business.

I've been ordering for here at least twice a month for over 15 years. They have the best pizza in the area. I'm not a huge fan of Italian food but everything I've ordered here has been good. The pizza is cooked whatever way I ask for. Toppings taste fresh and are generously applied.

I am a pizza switcher. I'll admit it. I do not have any allegiance to any local pizza place and will order from which ever place gives me the best deal, or where I have a coupon for. Just so happens I got a bomb coupon (their website has some really good deals) for pizza and garlic rolls, so, off to Luv'n Oven I went. The story: I drove to Luv'n Oven which I have probably passed over a thousand time and walked into the somewhat dingy restaurant to pick up my order. When I got to the car, I looked in the bag to make sure it was all there, and that is when I saw it. It being the garlic rolls. I was expecting the typical roll: round (duh), about the size of a small fist, six in an order, etc etc. But man was I pleasantly surprised. These were "poppable" sized rolls, and there were soooo many of them. I couldn't help myself, I needed NEEDED one right then. Oh em gee, it was ah-mazing. Garlicy and delicious. I love me some garlic rolls and these almost seemed endless. Almost like when you order Chinese Lo Mein and it just never ends. That's how these garlic rolls were. I ate nearly 10 before I even made it home. Needless to say, I was pretty full at that point, but still had room enough to have a slice of pizza. And that brings me to the pizza at Luv'n Oven. Now I am a pizza switcher because in my opinion, alot of the places taste the same. I mean, you are slapping sauce and cheese on some dough, how much differentiation does this really allow for? In the case of the pizza from Luv'n Oven, this is just so. It was good, nice quality, not too greasy. Would I be able to tell in a taste test the difference between their pizza and the pie from another restaurant a few streets over? No probably not. But it was definitely good.

Delivery sucks but dine in is amazing. The delivery pizza showup soggy and soft. The food is great but the dine in atmosphere is kinda dingy and normally surrounded by screaming kids.

Luv'n Oven has been in Cooper City FOREVER so it must be doing something right. Its your average pizza joint that is great for take-out or to stop by for lunch. The garlic rolls in cheese are Ah-mazing (but also probably the most un-healthiest thing on the menu). We used to call this place Greasy Oven just for how the garlic rolls and pizza was covered in oil. Its all good though, and has I said this place has been in town since Cooper City was the only thing west of University Drive.

The food is awful. No taste to anything I ordered. I placed an order for takeout and the food is really not good. The staff when I placed my order was very pleasant. The garlic bread is good but the garlic rolls are bad.

In my humble opinion LV offers the best Pizza in all of SFLA. The crust is light which means you can get carried away with yourself and eat 3 slices or more and not even feel it. Most Pizzeria's in the area don`t really seem to care how to make a Pizza properly, which is a shame. Here, they bake the Pizza in an old fashion oven, that i`ve only seen in NY. Although the place seems like a throwback to the 50`s, its really dark and needs to be redecorated don`t let it stop you. On a 1-10 scale this place for Pizza is a 12!

Luv'n Oven has been around for for more than 40 years and its still a great place to get some pizza! My friend had a birthday party for her 1yo kiddo this weekend and I jumped at the opportunity to go (um... for the celebration, yeah... thats the reason ;) I grew up less than 10min from Luv'n Oven and often got pizza from there when I was a kid. I haven't been there since high school, but that all changed yesterday. Walking in, you definitely get that "family owned" feel. Granted, they can probably do some updating (looks EXACTLY the same as I remembered), but the food is still great! Since it was a party, they served the food family-style: Each table got their own garlic rolls, salad, beverages, and pizza. The garlic rolls are pretty good and VERY garlicy. Instead of the typical large knot-style garlic rolls, these are smaller pieces of baked dough covered in their garlic butter/oil... so every bite is smothered and tasty. I covered mine in grated parmesan, which made them perfect. Salad... typical salad with ice burg lettuce, tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers, etc... nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Since it was a group setting, dressings were on the side. Pizza... Good pizza! They offered a variety for the large group - I opted for the pepperoni and veggie pizza - and both were very very good. The veggie pizza was loaded with veggies and NOT soggy at all, which is an issue at many pizzerias. Only "fix"... seemed like they used canned mushrooms and frozen spinach. I prefer fresh veggies, but it still turned out ok. The pepperoni pizza was perfect. Tasty zingy pepperoni, right amount of cheese, and crisp crust. No complaints here. If I wasn't busy socializing I probably would have downed 3-4 more slices :) Service... Amazing. It isn't easy attending to a group of 30+ people, but the staff accomplished this without an issue. Any requests were attended to quickly, random "needs" were available at all times (napkins, refills, etc...). Good job staff!

Amazing food, wonderful service, and great prices! The Wednesday madness deal is especially great. Must get the garlic rolls or garlic bread when you visit! And if she's there, Liz is the greatest waitress on the planet!!

Well I will start by saying that the food is good! I LOVE the garlic knots. However this past Wednesday I went in for lunch and my waitress was just terrible. She was a thin, middle aged woman. She acted like she was miserable. Also, i was very uncomfortable when she was showing me pictures of her sick kid. I feel bad and can sympathize with her, but I was depressed the rest of the day. If she works all of the lunch shifts, you can bet I'll be getting my food to go.

Service was an issue with a thin middle aged blonde waitress. ..definitely an attitude problem. But the food was good and the lunch pricing was great. Service put a damper on it for me, though.

I got take out here the other night. We had to wait forever for the food even after we ordered from home. Seems to have a steady costumer base. Many people we waiting for takeout. We ordered two pizzas, garlic rolls with melted cheese and an order of chicken wings. This obviously isn't for the health conscious. The pizza was the best part of this whole meal, I felt it was quality. It compared to other local pizza places. The garlic rolls were drenched in oil, not saying that is bad. They were pretty good. What lacked quality was the chicken wings. I'm a huge wing guy an they just dissapointed. But this is an italian place so I don't really expect chicken wings to be up there with sports bars. And also, they came with the meal. If you're in the mood for pizza, I would give them a try. The menu is extensive with house specials, sandwiches, and tons of other stuff. They also have coupons and dinner specials!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
